Small disclaimer: I’ve gotten a lot of comments like “I can’t make one myself because I don’t know how to sew!” Now, I can’t guarantee you’ll sew like a master after reading this tutorial (it would be interesting if you did, since I sure don’t) but I am going to try to define everything and include every single basic step, since I know a lot of Homestuck cosplayers are not veteran sewers. Hey guys, Mod #1 here! I recently put together a God Tier Rose cosplay, and although I didn’t take pictures of the process, I drew up a pattern/diagram for the hood and the dress and wrote up a walkthrough on how I made it. Here’s the end product (minus the shoes and tights WHICH I WILL LINK TO AT THE END OF THE POST):
