I like ALL the characters in Homestuck. Even the lesser loved ones such as Eggs, AR, and Nanasprite.
The reason I like the opinion is because it makes sense!
She pushed him off the cliff as a way of showing a child-like affection, but gone a bit far. She handicapped him to see if he can overcome it and become stronger as a person. Although, she didn’t do it so he can be stronger, she did it in intentions to have a man she can admire and look up to. 
Though that’s just how I see it.
But yes, she is still a bitch, but I love bitches, yo.
